Skyline Body Kit For 01 Maxima

I herd of a body kit for the 01 maxima that is shaped like a R34 Skyline, is that true? if so where can you buy one? I think that would look really nice on the max to have a skyline front.

The lower air damn is too damn big. Also for $340 you can get nearly a whole Stillen kit which looks way cleaner.

That looks nothing at all like a Skyline. Why not just try to look like a maxima, and leave it to the ricers in civics to think their fooling people with their bodykits.

Actually let me set this straight, I would be the only one in Hawaii with that, there is a few with the stillen kit here, but i didnt see any with the skyline,
Would you have to Mod the kit to fit, or it should fit into the holes that are there already.

i'm not agreeing or disagreeing with anyting anyone said.

But i think i read awhile ago that someone who purchased this kit said it was terrible quality. That the pieces were very thin and looked as if they were weak enough to break. just to warn you before u buy it.

I think you're right, its because this kit is fiberglass...

If you don't go with the Stillen rocker panels, you can get the lip ~$200 and the rear for $250 with free shipping at SWA.

I got the kit and there's only one issue with it......the area around the headlights aren't shape correctly causing the headlights to look as if it's sticking out.....look on my website and you'll notice it...other then that that little issue...the kit looks hot...just need to get it painted now. I just read the forum above me and damn he got screwed...I installed the kit myself...recieved it in 3 weeks...nicely boxed....had to drill the holes myself and it was from ebay! What ever kit you pic...good luck but here's a pic of what my **** looks like

if you're gonna have a huge-as s lower grill like that, you damn well better have a huge-as s intercooler to fill up the space. I dunno, the 5th gen has nice, rounded lines, and putting all that square cr*p on the front just screws up the lines of the car IMO.

This reminds me of a guy near here who has a Fiero with a Testarossa-style body kit. His Fiero has the Testarossa tail, Testarossa vents on the sides, Testarossa front bumper....damn it looks

I can see putting on body kits that make people say "that's a nice-looking Maxima." But why are you trying to make it look like a Skyline, which it will not. Then poeple will just say "look at that poser pretending he has a skyline when it's "just" a Maxima"... MIght as well put GT-R badges all over it while you're at it....

just my 2 cents though....it's your car, so do what you like and who cares what we all think.......

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=400486

but once again it will be fiberglass, and i dont know how the roads are in hawaii but around me it would be broken in a week. btw the title of this thread was asking if they made a skyline kit... he didnt ask for you guys to flame on it being rice, but thats what happens for everything on the .org except for the stillen kit and mm evo 5's

This thread is old but I mean it is your car, if you like it, go for it, if you don't post pics on here then no one on here will see it. So if you think that you will walk out to your car everyday and be happy, go for it. My .02$

if you wanna be the first maxima, then do it!!
personally, body kits makes the car look real cheap. it really does, only ricer civics
put on those fancy body kits and fake dual exhausts. and you just laugh at them while they drive by farting. maxima looks good stock or with just the lip kit. why ruin the good looks of a maxima?
