Do you have power to the horn? If you don't have a meter take the horn and hook right to the battery. If this does not work you blew the horn.

If it works it has to be a fuse or wire.

Check your ground point to make sure it has a good connection.

Are you using a relay? If not I assume you have the hot stock wire to activate the horn. Take a meter or testlight and hook one end to the stock hot wire and the other to a good ground. Then you depress the horn you should get 12V. Sounds like this is not working for you. If this is the case, double check all the fuses or you have to do some wire searching for breaks.

(and I used to hang out in levittown and such back in the day!)

I doubt if the horn is blown....I've never heard of that happening.

My bet is that the ground wire from one or both the horns is not making a good connection. Try different grounding spots. I've seen it happen that even though the ground wire is securely fastened the horn doesn't work. I'm assuming that you've grounded each horn seperately.

You know, there is a way to set your key fob to lock the car w/out the horn going off. I don't remember exactly, but it involves pressing and holding the buttons for several seconds (it's on the back of the fob or in the manual). All it takes is a pair of tight jeans with the keys in your pocket and you could be off on a wild goose chase. Just a thought.

The Kid - It may be the key fob thing.....Did you check to see if the horn works when you hit the steering wheel as opposed to just locking the car?

i thought it way have been the key fob but it didnt work from in the car as well. this morning i put the old horns on and they worked so i think like some of u had sayed its the negative. but would both not work at the same time i put both negatives to the same spot i guess that did it. i dont know ill use all youre info and when i get my car back hopefully next weekend i will try again. but i didnt evan think of the negative cause it was really tight. maybe the both cant be together? idk but i will try and thanx u very much for all youre info.
