If so, do you all think it wlll be a 5-speed auto?

I'm seriously thinking about trading my car in this fall for the 3.5.

Yes for the auto. I doubt it will be a 5 speed auto though. The 2002 I35 is a 4 speed auto, that has been "strengthened." If the I35 is only 4 speed, the Maxima will not be a 4 speed. (IMHO)

I wish Nissan would use a 5 speed auto. The TL really benefited from it, so would the Maxima/I35.

Check out the shift gate on the I35. Looks like it will be difficult to speed shift it. Maybe that's what they mean about strengthened.

why does nissan do that?

i'm talking about the clock. why don't they use a digital one. it's so much easier than that other kind.

if the speedo wasn't green, that would be a sweet car
