Anyone have experience with Endless brake pads?

I'm planning a brake job for my car in the next month or so and am gathering up some information. My plan is to go with either OEM or 6th Gen size (with BlemhCo brackets) dimpled Rotora rotors up front, and dimpled OEM Rotoras in the back.

My question is mainly about brake pads. Does anyone on here have experience with Endless Vita Nuova pads? I'd also like to hear what pads all you veteran Max guys have gotten the best balance of life/performance/liveability in the real world.

Full disclosure: I have a custom Endless brake system that I'll eventually fit to my 240Z, but since the engine is still sitting under plastic in my garage and the brakes are in a box, I don't think I'll get any first hand experience with them before I do the brakes on my Maxima.

By endless do you mean they never where out? If so the pads are baked, They overheated for one reason or another. This usually happens when pads are fairly new and not broken in properly. Sounds good because they'll last forever but you're braking distance will be much longer and you'll have to press the pedal hard. change pads and be soft on them for the first couple hundred miles. When a pad gets baked it gets hard works like a sled with no friction and will where you're rotors out prematurely

Endless is a Japanese company that makes high-performance braking systems. Their systems are equivalent to the high end stuff from Brembo and AP Racing.

I'll just assume that no one has ever tried their Vita Nuova street compound pads. Looks like I'll be a pioneer!

Just looked at the site. Seems pretty impressive. But hell, for the price, why not get the Porterfield R4S pads? People here actually have them and love them. And they also give a NICE discount to Org members.

They dont post the discount on the site, but you can email Wendy @ Porterfield. Here is the email she sent me...

Matt,

I have heard of some problems but that was from a while ago and I believe we have rectified the problem. I checked the ones we have in stock and they are made to the spec size according to the parts books we have here. So here is your quote with the Maxima.org discount.

Fronts AP 815 R4-S $71.96 per axle set (4 pieces)
Rears AP 900 R4-S $63.96 per axle set

Thank you for your interest,
Wendy

so about 140 for front and back pads for porterfields? Pertaining to the thread, Endless is a very high performance company and makes awesome stuff.

well, Porterfields are pretty solid. I mean, if youre running the track everyday, then hell, just get a Brembo kit! Hell, waste more money and buy both sets and switch them out every other month and see which one you like better? why not!
