In all honesty, I wouldn't mind one too.... 02 with all the options and a VQ30 that can be SCed...

I thought the ".5" referred to the sum of all changes made to the Max for 2002, including engine, 6spd manual, and all interior/exterior cosmetic changes.

Why would you want the VQ30 instead of the 35? I'm serious here, not just being a smartass. I really want to know.

Cuz ya can't SC a 3.5.... I know SSR is working on a TC kit for us... but turbo stuff is a little beyond me....

Huh. I didn't know that. Why can't you SC a 3.5? Just how it's laid out and such?

Well I guess technically, ya could, if ya knew how to build a custom one and squeeze it in there... I doubt anyone has tried it and there's gotta be a good reason... I know pimpjuice had a custom TC set-up...

Anyways, I shoulda mentioned that I was talking about pre-fabbed kits... the Stillen one won't work with a 3.5.... and I don't have the time or money to look into anything custom at this point... might just wait for the SSR turbo kit, if I can learn how those things work by then... big "IF" though.... cuz its definitely not plug n play... plus if the car is a daily driver, SCs are a better way to go....

I think just because no company makes a SC kit for 3.5

Haha... me too... maybe I'll save up some cash now for a SCed 5th Gen and get the SSR kit down the road when I finally get the know-how on turbos...

Dream on...

I think I'll just follow the yellow brick road down to NC sometime to see the VQ Wizard and learn a thing or 2 about N/A applications.... there's much I can do there w/o getting into the whole FI thing...

I guess since there were sublte changes, besides the engine we could call the 97-99 the 4.5g.
