Home Depot Fog Lens Repair?

Home Depot Fog Lens Repair?
Searching turned up nothing on this so I have to ask...
A while back there was an Org member that replaced his cracked fog light lenses with material bought at Home Depot. With spring being here I'd like to get mine fixed (or replaced if the HD fix did not work). With so many cracked fogs out there this would be a valuable how-to if it indeed worked.
Anyone know who did this? If it worked? If a how to is available?
Thanks all...

If memory serves, he mentioned plexiglass he bought at HD and had cut into the oval shape. My questions from there are...
How did he remove the glass from the housing? (oven perhaps?)
What epoxy did he use to put the plexiglass on?
Did the clear plexiglass (vs. the pattern in the OEM glass) affect light dispersion? Appearance?
Has it held up to bulb heat and road debris?
Lets keep this bumped up on page 1 so he may see it... If he found a way to do it it could help out lots of members.
Thanks Guys...

Hi All Again,
Thanks to Kabir for responding to our request for info on the repair. I just emailed him with questions such as oven temp to separate OEM glass from OEM housings, etc. I'll post any answeres I get, or perhaps he will respond to my questions here in the thread which would be fine as well.
I am going to try this as process as I have nothing to lose. My glass is cracked on both, bad enough that there was water inside the housing last Saturday when I pulled my PIAA Super Plasmas out (one blew and I'm sending them in under warrantee... again). I put my OEM bulbs back in but don't give them much time if the water gets at them.
Stay tuned...

In my experience with clear plexi, it's never quite as clean or clear looking as glass. I guess it somehow just doesn't look quite as... I dunno... pure? It also has a tendency to get hazy/foggy when it starts to collect tiny scratches from road/track debris. Of course, I'm talking about the clear plexi that people use on race-only cars to replace the window class (plexi is lighter).
