New OEM Headlights
it depends
what model maxima are we talkin about here? 00,01,02,03? I got my HID OEM lights from ebay for $600 shipped. They come with a different ballast but nonetheless they are way cheaper... Great quality. He was an authorized dealer in Florida with a 99.9% +feedback and there were about 4,000 feedacks. So the $900 or anywhere near that for the 02-03 HIDs DONT BUY IT, literally!!

I think for less than 75 bucks worth of rubbing compound, some very very fine sandpaper, and a polishing wheel...plus about 5 hrs of work, you might be able to bring the lights back to excellent shape.
This is what I will be doing ONCE IT STOPS SNOWING UP HERE

I rub them with cleaning compound, but it is not what I'm looking for. They are foggy and full of chips. I am going to try something this weekend (if it doesn't rain). The 128K miles doesn't help that much. Thanks for the help.
