resealing headlights...

Hey everyone, ive done that fake AE headlight mod and now water is hazing up my headlight. I figured i have to reopen it to reseal it with new silicone.(i never put new silicone in it, i just reheated the headlight and hopped it would reseal) I was wondering waht kind to use. I bought some clear silicone sealent from homedepot and am wondering if this is the right stuff. A friend of mine is telling me that there is "automotive" silicone at pep boys for sale? Am i good with this clear waterproof silicone from home depot? or should i get the automovtive silicone?

i had the same problem with my headlights. i put that clear waterproof sealant on it that you're talking about and it helped, but didn't fix the problem. i think if you just really pack that clear sealant in, it will work - i think i just needed to use more of it.
