Anyone Tow with the Max?
I'm moving and need to move my project car. Has anyone towed another car with the max? I'm looking into other alternatives, but this is looking like the best way for me over the 600 miles.

Anyone done this??

I don't think the towing capacity is that great on the maxima. It'll put a pretty big load on the transmission and brakes. If anything, get a full sized pickup and do the job right.

QFT...

i think your best bet is to ship it for around $500... you'll probably save that money anyways from preventing tranny damage, decreased fuel economy, etc... these cars are not made to tow...

Rent a Ford F350 "beer keg style" truck and tow it yourself. Oh in case you were wandering it's the F350 with the double wheels in the rear. It has plenty of towing power with a Triton-V10 engine.

Problem is I don't have a truck and if I rent one can it pull 2 cars? Looks like I'll have to find a friend to take a ride with me (or 1 with a truck).
