Grille for a 2000......any ideas?

With the weather turning I'm looking for a new mod for the front. I love the look of custom grilles but there doesn't seem to be much options. Does any one have any good ideas and I'm looking for an easy DIY install type?

Thanks in advance.

I've always liked the look of the Street Scene grille.

i like the shape they have. they're not flat like the grille-tech ones. but i do like my grille-tech lower inserts. but i'm thinking about putting the street scenes ones for the lower instead.

I'm also partial to the Street Scenes grille, I think it looks great. And not just saying that because I own it.

Go with the SS grille. You can get them on the Stillen Website. There are two different methods of install, one in which you imply put it in place, the other is where you have to disconnect the bumper and cut out the OEM grille. The SS grille is very sturdy and very classy. Well worth the time and effort.

If you are referring to the SS valence grill, it is cake. Just take the fasteners out to lower the front of the splash guard on the front of the car for easy access and then follow the directions from there. 5 minutes.

Nope, nothing permanent, and it literally takes 5 minutes. 7 if you're drunk.

shrug, maybe it's twice as cool - dunno, never seen the grille-tech live and up close - this one's nice and heavy, a solid piece of metal if you will and didnt rust at all this winter even with all of the crappy philly weather ... dont know your experiences related to that with the grille-tech but if it didnt rust, then friggin' A, comes down to personal preference i guess

X, there is no reason to even suggest the grille tech grille as they do not have them for the 5th gen models. The original thread was for a 5th gen grille, I don't know how a 5,5 gen grille hijacked the thread...

Well, I guess this doesn't apply to the original poster, but for you 5.5 genners, I've always liked studman's setup quite a bit:

He has the top listed as a "JMS Products Inc. Brushed Aluminum 1/2" Diamond-Cut Grille." Looks perfect with that Nissan badge slapped on there.
