Fog Light Rewire Revisited...

Yes. I searched and searched. Followed the directions on housecor's website regarding the rewire. Now my fogs don't work at all!

Anyone wanna weigh in on my dilemma?

You have a 2000, whereas housecor wrote the writeup for an 02/03. There is a good chance the wiring was a different color in the 5.5 gen Max. It's either that or you screwed something up, because his directions worked just as expected with my fogs.

So true. Every mod breaks something else.

I think it's Igor911, and he has the mod to hook the fogs up so they stay on with the brights, not so they can be turned on without the headights. I'm pretty sure it's a different mod.

Housecor's writeup is with the rest of his write-ups at www.innerbean.com/housecor, bookmark that site!

i think you cut the correct colored wire but you spliced it to the wrong end? because there is one you should put tape over, so the other you splice into. try it the other way around.

Yea, it's basically cutting two wires, using some electrical tape and a quick splice connector. Very short and simple mod. And a nice effect.
