Can I replace only one tire?

I have a bad tire. Can I just replace this one tire or do I have to do them in pairs?

Thanks.

depends on your budget.. it is prefered to change at least pair at a time.. but if u dont really have to.. u can just get on tire

Yeah, it might cause some uneven tire wear, but if you're strapped for cash, go for it.

I'm just curious whether it's going to affect the alignment.

We recently had a blow out of the drivers front tire on a trip to Myrtle Beach in our Murano. Since we were on the road, we just replaced the one tire. (The other tires had 15K miles on them)

I was concerned that it would affect the handling by just replacing one tire, but it did not! The Murano handled fine the rest of the trip.

So I would say if the milage on the other tires isn't too high, go with just one.

It is best to replace them in pairs but if all you can do it one do one, better than a donut
