Thoughts on adding SEAFOAM to OIL?

The guy at O'Reilly said not to add it to the oil, KWIK KAR guy said not to add it to the oil, but some other guys said they have. I am going to change my oil this week and was wondering if maybe I should add it right after I get my oil change. Has anyone had any problems after adding it? Or should I add some and drive it around a little while and then change the oil? Thanks in advance.

I put it in my fuel tank, oil, and vaccum line all at one time.... Right after i changed the oil too. i had no problems... It wont harm anything, But its normal when a bunch of smoke comes out while u first start and drive the car...

Was one bottle enough for all that? You use a third for the vacuum line, about half for the oil, and the remaining tiny sixth for your oil? Or did you split it into even thirds?

I put it in my Oil, My Vacuum Line, My Gas but before I do the Vacuum Line, I use the Sea Foam Spray all over the Throttle body to clean it up. I spray it till I see everything come lose. After that I wait 5 or so minutes and start the car. It feels like an engine that hasn't been started in years but after all the smoke clears, forget about it. Its like a brand new engine!!!

it is a 16 oz bottle (at least where i go) split it about evenly between teh three. the way i understand it it is best to add right before you change your oil. that is what i did. i did it and then drove for a half tank (until empty) then i changed my oil. i have heard that is best.

I doubt it does a whole lot, especially if you use synthetic oil.
