Tried to replace the mid-grade 6.5" front door speakers on my SE and ran into a problem. No one carried the right size bracket. I was told to craft one out of wood, or manipulate (and then use) the existing bracket. The speaker is molded to the bracket, so I would have to ruin the stock speaker if I were to manipulate it.

I'd like to locate a bracket that fits, if possible.
Any suggestions?

Been there, done that. Not with a speaker, mind you, but with a POP-Charger. Had to crank up the Ooglie ThinkTank to come up with something that would fit my particular situation.

How does this help you? It doesn't. Sorry. Just trying to lend moral support and give you a bump to the top of the forum. You may want to get punkdork's attention on this. He did a speaker swap out (in the how-to sticky... check it for tips) so he probably knows what you're talking about.

Good luck.

You can find the rigth bracket in this address http://www.sfxaudio.com/products/ins...xima&Year=2001
You also will find the Installation Kit and the Wire Harness.
Good luck.
