dude yeah they do. and i believe your year has DDE's also known as angel eyes. If not you definitely have to put a set on there for sure.

yes the HIDs will fit a 2000 but its a touchy subject in here with all the HID theft

One more, do i have to use stock lights?, say i bought the lights of Custom maxima, could i put angel eyes on those?

Ok, you keep telling people to get DDEs and you don't even know what they are. There are many threads right here on maxima.org that talk about this subject but I'm gonna try to explain this to you.... You have a 2000 Maxima with regular halogen headlights, DDEs will NOT fit in your headlights. You NEED to buy Original Equipment 2002-2003 Maxima HID headlights from either the dealer or used somewhere to get DDEs. Custommaxima does not sell headlights you can install the DDEs in, they only sell the cheap projector halo headlights. You MUST buy 2002-2003 OE or OE replacement headlights. Click here to see the headlights you need to buy. . You will then need a wiring harness to wire them to your 2000 Maxima as well as the proper mounting clips. Click here to see the wiring you will need. These headlights are NOT plug and play and you will need to rewire everything, but I cannot help you with wiring directions. Now you can go buy the DDEs from HERE . To install the DDEs you HAVE to open the headlights. Click here to see how to open your lights and install them.

yes every 02/03 had HIDs. you were asking about the projector headlights. Tek-Niq was saying that if you get those then you should get HID bulbs

thanks for the actual helpful hint about how to use the forum bauer. Im still trying to figure out how to use the search tools and stuff, but everytime i try to use something liek that it says im not allowed there because something about the administrator or some crap.

 

Yes, it seems like they are trying to get everyone to donate to do the littlest things. I sure hope all that extra money is being spent well.
Also, if people have to donate for every little privilege that could scare off new members. Which would decrease the usefullness of this board. I hope these new strategies are being carefully thought out.
