The Smart Tuner Piggy-back (smt6)

I was checking the specs on this tuner. I was wondering does anyone have any experience with this unit? I'm thinking about geting this unit instead of a ecu chip which probably won't do much for me. I found the site here link

it will work. The SAFC nor Emanage manuals do not list the maxima in there applications list. All you need to do is match the wires to the corresponding wires on the ECU. The only down fall is this requires self tuning and doesn't have the extended rev limiter. The cost of the SMT6+the cost to tune it if done by a shop will end up costing more than the technosquare ECU.

If you want to tune, then why not use these?

I found this on the site also.

The SMT6 is capable of driving extra 4 x 16 ohm injectors, doing boost control, display lambda, 1 switched outputs to drive relay, nitrous control and more. These extra functions are over and above the standard ignition and analog fuel control and therefore will not be shown in the wiring diagrams. These wiring diagrams are however the starting point for most of the advanced applications and only show fuel and ignition tuning for now.

Do you think it's a good idea to get one of these if I'm not using FI?
