Chris go ahead n call me if U wish- any time tomorrow is good, if I'm bussy at work I will have to call you back.

EGR in theory is supposed to lower combustion chamber temps, but I noticed that my JDM engine ran cooler than my US one with the SAME ECU and no EGR. Something bout hot exhaust gases going through my intake manifold- warming it up, has got me thinking, power loss.

Emanage with the ignition wire harness will pull back timing, just needs to be setup good like instructed on the 350Z forums.

OMG...you didn't tell me that...I give up. PULLED CODES LATELY?!?!?!

Yes, you can pull timing with the eManage, however the J&S can retard via boost or RPM and most importantly if/when detonation occurs. Do the research on the J&S and you'll know why it is such a godsend. I'd wait on the J&S unless you know for sure you're going to want/need it and get it soon anyways.

That's what I thought until recently, but it's not true. I have a test coming up, ie blocked EGR on a GA16DE causing major detonation, so I'm going to clean it and hopefully that's been my culprit for the past 100K miles.

yessssss i pulled the codes. It is just for a secondary o2. Admit it i keep things interesting around here with my stupidity . My moto is "if it still runs as fast as it always has and you don't hear or smell anything bad then let her ripp". Probably the stupidest thing i did was the week after i got the blower on i went to the track without tunning, no tranny modification, and without any guages . But hey i still ran a 14.3 on my 19's and in 80 degree weather, stock auto tranny, and untuned so i was pretty happy.
