Are there any tips or anything. It looks pretty straight forward but sometimes thats when you find out it really is not that easy. Anything I should know before I start?

I guess it depends on the bar you bought......if you have the Courtesy Bar the far bolt on passenger side cannot be tightened easily w/ bar in place. You need a box wrench. Other than that .....good luck !!

Be careful... The FSTB install is one of the most difficult and delicate installations... Be careful you don't hurt yourself or you car!!!!

Hey thanks everyone. Just wanted to check and make certain there were no surprises. Sounds and looks pretty easy. Thanks punkdork for the link. Good info. This site sure comes in handy when looking to find out some stuff on how things work and so on. Have a great day all!

Oh Kev... thanks for the bump, wasn't sure where this info should be, thats why I put it in the "how to" section.

Thanks again all.

No problem walsh03... everytime I split something from a sticky thread, the new post gets pushed down deep into the forum so I usually reply with a "bump" post. If you take a look at the subject you'll see "(split)." This means that I've split this thread/post (usually from a sticky).

They only thing you might hurt are your knuckles if your socket wrench isn't that big

bad, bad influence

Kev, just so you know, my wife is developing a strong disliking towards the nice folks that I talk to on this site. It's like you're all like little devils or something, whispering bad things in my ear, "now you need a rsb.... now you need springs.... now you need a supercharger." As Bobby Bouchet's mother said in Waterboy, "Bobby Bouchet, you stay from that girl, she's the debil"

Punkdork, you are one lucky dawg. My wife wouldn't even consider working on a car. Actually... I don't think I would let her touch my car. She is great, but sometimes she falls towards the clumsy side. That's all I would need is for her to drop a wrench on my already crappy paint. The stress would be to great for me to bear seeing her around my car with tools, - crash... bam... boom... screech....

Who? Me?!?!? . . . . . . .

We're just trying to make your ride more enjoyable. I believe FSTB and RSB would suffice for normal people... you're almost there. Hehehe
