My opinions on Cattman headers

I have had the headers on my car for over a week. Gave them time to settle in. Once installed the headers did have a meaner tone which I loved Still didn't think the greddy was to loud for it. It's broken in now and last weekend I had other org members hear them. I can say that with the headers it's lower then the cattman y-pipe at idle. The tone throughout the powerband is better then the y-pipe. The feel of the headers over the y-pipe is there. only at cold start do I hear the rasp of the greddy otherwise it isn't there. I am going to get some vids as soon as I can. Dyno is on the 9th. this saturday.

What other mods do you have?

Done a VIAS check lately?

Most people don't believe me when I tell them the headers are just slightly quieter than a Y.

Current mods is injen intake and the greddy. I am almost done with the RSM/VIAS project. That's waiting for the SAFC II.
VIAS still works with the headers you really here it. As for whole cattman set-up.. I had the greddy first, but plan to go full cattman.

Agreed.

One more thing, Header removed 2 pre-cat and have to modify 2 O2 (which I just tied somewhere, no engine light problem)

Header around $850

Installation around $400 (not including the O2 sensors modification)

***don't forget to keep the replaced header***

good stuff

I've had my hotshots on for 3 weeks and still haven't gotten to drive it. From the few revs i have done trying to keep the car from dying(long story) they sound damn good. I think my setup now sounds cleaner and more smooth than with my old WSP y pipe

Can't wait to get the Cattman Headers. I've got the Catback already, so I'm sure this will sound good!

Girlfriend's AE has the Cattman Catback, and WSP y-pipe. That sounds great, but if I got a Cattman Y for it, it would sound cleaner I'm pretty sure.

Ive had my Cattman headers for quite some time, love them. I also have the Greddy EVO with a CM test pipe, the rasp is pretty bad with my setup. Im looking into another exhaust but what is out there that will perform like the Greddy EVO?? Hows the Cattman setup sound compared to the EVO?? Will it be just as raspy??

is there any difference between the cattman and the hotshot headers besides the price?

couldn't tell you since i have never seen the cattman's first hand. So far i am happy with the hotshots, but then again my car doesn't run for more than 5 seconds at a time.

the cattman will definitely sound better....the greddy evo has a tiny little resonator to help control sound...while cattman's has a HUGE resonator to help produce that nice deep mellow sound....
