You are all assuming that it was a single object.

Wow... thanks guys for the vote of confidence... I don't know what I hit. It was dark and rainy. There are lots of stuff on the road. If there was something fishy with this, would I have shared? Not likely. If I knew I would have told. I didn't report this to the insurance since I didn't want to affect my policy payment.

Thanks to those who are glad I am well. I have also seen alot of CSI... and with physics and movement stuff the answer sometimes is far fatched. On a good note, I got my spoiler delivered yesterday while I was at a meeting with fellow elementary teachers. Will post pics when the trunk and spoiler gets fixed.

dude, you hit some form of debris on the road, everyone knows that would be covered under comprehensive if you have it, just like if you hit an animal, or was in an accident that was determined no-fault due to conditions or otherwise............something definitely is up. I mean it's possible you could pick something up and it hit your trunk, but you are way to shady about the situation to be believable. I'm leaning towards Irish's theory. You had to hit something that had no deflection to damage those wheels like that, and no chrome bumper would be that radical........it does look distinctively like a city-style concrete curbing. Whatever damaged the trunk couldn't have been of hard material because it didn't take any paint. So if you ask me, whatever was soft and/or light enough to not even scratch the paint certainly wouldn't be able to damage the wheels like that..............just a thought
