Mossy exhaust prices

Alright since I can't start a new post on a Group deal section and Greg Vogel doesn't come here he told me to basically handle the group deal for him. Deal is going to start in about a week.

Hes priced the deal at 535 dollars for the exhaust system, it will come with all the hardware and you will get a Mossy Performance T-shirt along with it. Cattman exhaust which is identicall and ALSO made by Stromung is 599 bux plus shipping. Greg estimated that shipping to the East coast should be 40-45 dollars from California, pickups are allowed.

If a Moderator is willing to move this to the GD section of the forum, that would be great.

Might be less to shipp it to the midwest, company who makes the exhaust is closed for this week. Greg will get me prices on the bpipe (with resonator ofcourse) and the rear muffler just for the people who are interested in those. Exhaust sounds great, and should last a very long time.

That's a little disappointing, since I heard somewhere that the GD price would be better than the Frankencar exhaust shipped. The Frankencar is $520 shipped.

Still... the Mossy exhaust seems to offer a less tame sound and slightly better performance than the Frankencar, and the Frankencar is supposed to be really heavy, so I think I will probably end up getting in on this group deal. Getting a better product is worth the extra $60 to me.

Greg will take care of the deal- he just wants me to start it and then you guys can contact him with the orders. Hes a super nice guy thats good as far as taking care of Nissan fanatics- let it be Maxima, Altima or Sentra guys. He and I are also getting a LSD for the Maximas going, I am sick n tired of the open diff in my stock 5spd tranny. I should know more bout the LSD later on, its more expenssive than most mods but it does put down the power to the ground for all of us with high HP engines that need traction for drag, autoX or road racing.

How many of us have to get in on the deal, and what's Greg's contact info so we can place our orders?

I thought the same thing. Most likely, I won't buy this system because I'm pretty much paying $550+ for different exhaust tone and look of muffler. I could use that money on something else.

I like my Cattman. I would do it all over again cause of my trust in their products and for the minimal price difference. I know you guys say this is the same, but because the price is not as low as was claimed, and Cattman's been around for alot longer this would have been a "See for myself" ordeal. Goodluck to everyone getting in on this. If it is the same as the Cattman, they you won't go wrong.

How many times I need to say STROMUNG makes both the exhausts, Cattman and MOSSY are actually STROMUNG catback systems. What you pay for with Cattman is.... nothing. There are no decals, emblems or anything on the exhaust that indicates its a Cattman, or Mossy. Cattman headers are not even Cattman headers, they are imported from a "xxxxxxxx" company by Brian and resold here as his.

I'm not arguing that they are one in the same. This should explain why the difference in price is not that dramatic, but what happen to the lower than FC price?

I don't suppose there was any word on whether they'd be willing to use the resonated/double-wall Stromung tips (the ones they put on the "stromung-brand" rear section) if requested?

Stromung is on vacation for now, and I won't know anything bout possible change of tip design or what not. They do make double walled resonated tips for the B15 Sentras, I'm sure they can make one for the Max also.

Final pricing hasn't been anounced, Greg estimated the price to be 535 dollars for the exhaust, we will see what Stromung says. I will keep ya all posted.

Oh ok, I thought by your first post that was the final. It'd be good to see what he'll be able to sell these at and hopefully make a good enough profit. Ya, keep us posted.
