Hating my life...

after 7 months with my max, back in Feb my MAF blew. replaced it and now a month and half later and roughly 1000 miles it blew again today and i couldnt be more pissed off. Any chance i could try and get the dealer to do anything for me since it lasted such a short time? i don't even have the money to replace it which really sucks and im thinking of just swapping back to a stock airbox, my intake isnt worth all the trouble its causing me....

If you bought the part from Nissan, it should be have a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. I know because the dealership told me today that if I blew a new MAF then it would be covered. I just burnt my first MAF and spent my day haggling with the dealer over replacing mine under warranty. Unfortunately I just hit 37,000 miles, hence my basic warranty is now expired. in the end I just called Dave B and got a great deal on a 2k1 MAF to rig into my 2k2.
