DDE turned on while HIDs turned on
There is a big commotion going on about the new DDE sold by Umnitza. Anyways, I was thinking about buying them, but the only pics I see are the ones witht the ONLY DDEs turned on while the the hids are turned off.
What I want to look at are the DDE ON with the headlights ON. I don't know about you guys, but I plan to keep my headlights turned on all the time with the DDEs on. A little while ago, I had the projector headlights, and those looked pretty good. (besides the obvious light output)
Anyways, if anyone can posts pics of both DDE and headlights on (from far away), I would really appreciate it. If it really doesn't make a difference, I don't want to buy them.
Thanks bunch!

Its true that you cant see them with the headlights on....when looking directly at the front of the car. However, when seen from an angle or from the side (like the view from cars you are passing or as seen by pedestrians on the sidewalk), the DDE's still kind of stand out.

Here are some pics with DDEs on and HIDs off then DDEs on and HIDs on:
You can easily notice the DDEs from the side and you can also see the inner rings on the high beams from a distance. Hope this helps.

How did you get such clear pics of the DDEs? Are those film camera pics that you scanned? The optical sensor in my digital camera (Canon A85), even when using a tripod with the flash turned off, cant seem to handle the brightness of the DDEs.

Well if you wire them the way you want than they will turn on the way you want...i want them on with HIDs and without so i wired them to the corner lights.
Some cameras can and some cameras can't take the good quality pictures.

Don't know how he did it but I know on my digi cam there is a night shot setting that enhances the ambient light and does not use the flash. That or you can just turn your flash to the off setting.

well what i recommend doing is getting HID fogs, so you can still have the same great hid output, but not have to have ur headlights on all the time unless u are going somewhere extra dark
check sig for pic

The DDE's are easily visible with the HIDs on. Especially from the side - I can see the DDE's reflecting off cars next to me at night. And the inner ring is always clearly visible unless the hi-beams are on.
