Slow leak??

I had my oil changed and tranny flushed a couple weeks back and there was fluid under the car. I thought it was overflow or something and dismissed it. Anways, I checked today and the leak is still there. I checked my oil level, that was a little on the high side. Could this be transmission fluid? Can you tell the difference between engine oil and tranny fluid? Sorry for the retarded question, I'm just not too mechanically inclined. I will be taking this back to the mechanic, but I just wanted to check with you guys for any ideas. If the oil is filled to high could this cause the leak? I've never had this problem until after they changed both oil and tranny.

The oil if in good condition will have a honey brown appearance and transmission oil has red kool-aid look to it.

What kind of tranny service did you have? Drain and fill or did they take off the pan and clean the filter too?

Thanks man, it's definitely the oil than. I'm wondering if they screwed something up when they changed the oil.

How much is leaking? Drops or puddles? Can you see where the leak is coming from?

Small drops, very slow. It's coming from the passenger side, toward the front of the engine bay. It's probably where the oil pan and cap are located.

Did you look around the oil cap on the engine cover maybe they spilled around there and dripping down to the bottom.

I just wanted to thank everyone who gave their input. I just got the car back from the mechanic and it was just a simple thing; the oil filter was not sealing correctly. It was apparently defective.
