I have a 911 Twin Turbo with tons of mods and 3 AMG benz. Big deal we can say anything we want on the net with what cars we beat what cars we say we have etc.. Rice o' Roni there says he has both a Teg and CL-S big deal...I have a mildly modded VR6 GTI that would beat those easily and my AE Max. Too bad that CL-S lost to a stock Auto Max with no mods though.... If you took a 5pd max with mods that equalled the difference in price between the CL-S and Max AE the Max would be a much better car for racing. You could easily have a FSTB, RSTB, RSB, CAI, Pipe, Exhaust, springs....would beat a CL-S no problem and still have money left over.... Over paid for a 260HP that under performs for the HP. Go ahead and bring it up to 300HP now you have an even more expensive under performing car. I hope your mom doesn't mind you racing around in her car?

Eclipse boy. A GTI VR6 is a low 15sec car, some got high 14s stock as well. They are LIGHT. I ran my friends and its hard to say who is faster but on the highway, he even got me a little half a car pull from 60-120, thats it. There lightness helps ALOT!

Man, if you are running stock, I will blow your doors off. I welcome the race, like I said before I have beaten 5 speed manuals before. I have raced them from a stop and on the highway, with the same result I WON! By the way Acura will be coming out with a six speed manual for the CL-S. If you are talking mods, I have a couple of friends with headers, cai, springs&sways, and exhaust, that will eat Maximas for lunch.

to CL-S owners just wondering where do you see all those maxima that want to race all the time?? @ a maxima meet or track or what?In my area all the maxima drivers are like 40+ and they usually drive in the slow lane and block traffics. I know I've never seen any CL-S driver that wanted to race me or anyone on the road

I used to own a 93 Infiniti J30t, which was a beautiful car, and i can say nissan knows how to make cars, i like Nissans too, i really like pathfinders...and the Infiniti model line up is honestly beautiful.. i think all nissans looks really good, except for the new maximas...they look like aliens from mars IN MY OPINION.

I think the Sentra looks better exterior wise than the Maxima...though i respect your tastes, and i cant bash your tastes in cars...


I havent raced any maximas, cause everyone that lives around me is smart enough to know that the maxima is not meant to be raced..and with its looks, shouldnt be raced..but again, i respect you guys, that choose to buy maximas and add mods..etc..

I HAVE driven a Maxima, and it is, in NO WAY CLOSE to the CL-S. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY, ANY STOCK CL-S with an AVERAGE driver can beat ANY STOCK MAXIMA.


Also, I think you guys need to cut down on your signatures, and another note, i noticed soo many posts saying "lets not argue, WWIII, stop flaming"..I dont see any flaming, i dont know what you Maxima owners consider arguing, this is a simple debate..and if i offended anyone, you may click the link below a "tattle-tale" on me to a Mod, and i will disapear, and you can go back to thinking your cars beat CL-S's.

One more thing, AznWontonboy, for 2 years i have been drooling over a Silver M5. You sir, in one night, have made me sick of seeing the silver M5, and i assure you, i will never purchase a silver M5 due to your reptitive signature.

Where do all these people come from? It's always possible to beat a car that you not suppose to beat. If you don't know that or too stubborn to realize that, then you probably haven't been around long enough. If you race, you should realize that. Maybe this time the CL-S did lose to a Maxima, but the next time, the CL-S will take the Maxima. As far looks, it's just a matter of opinions. IMO, the CL-S don't look that great either. Maybe, the TL-S looks better, but the CL-S?

And the Maxima, with its looks, shouldn't be raced? Geez...some people. And yeah, the CL-S is a true looking racer, huh?
