Quietest aftermarket exhaust?
Seems like I got a small tiny hole in the stock exhaust now.
What system out there gives the quietest noise yet some performance.
If I don't find a good one I'll just replace with stock, don't want anything to loud at all.
Soundclips would be nice if you guys go any.
Thanks

FrankenCar < Cattman/Mossy < Greddy EVO
this is in order from quiestest to loudest....I personally own the cattman...it's not loud at all FROM MY perspective....but I can admit its much louder than stock....you'll hear the exhaust at every RPM no matter how much you gas it....

I'd say the Frankencar....only becuz it's cheaper....not sure about the gains over stock....but I heard it's really restrictive compared to Greddy or Cattman/Mossy.......But for the price ($440 shipped iirc?) you can't go wrong as opposed to Cattman's almost $600 exhaust....
btw if you want performance out of your car...you should just save your money and get yourself a bpipe+intake....a full catback including muffler is pretty damn expensive and will yield only 1-2hp over just a bpipe alone....

Well it depends. If you want to re-route your O2 sensors, go for the dual port. If you don't, then go for the regular. Personally, I'd go for the dual because if you purchase headers or even just the y-pipe, you'll probably need that extra port, because you will have to re-route the O2.

Just a muffler won't give you a big gain because everything else on the car is stock and restrictive when compared to the muffler.
or heck...just buy a freakin bpipe and leave your stock intake....if you think i'm going OT as well....all i have to say is....a bpipe is worth way more than what a muffler can do.....a bpipe is for HP....a muffler is primarily for sound....

a clear 15whp difference over stock...thats assuming stock is 205whp (thats wut most 6spds dyno at)....a very effective combo @ a cheap price.....keeps you away from trouble from the police too..

heres the dyno of the gentlemen who dynoed 211whp stock on his 6spd...

I don't know alot about exhaust, what exactly is included in a catback. I just bought a magnaflow #14803, I might as well get everything else before I install it. Thinking about getting a bpipe, resonator, and y pipe at least. any suggestions would be appreciated

I'm gonna see if I can find a dyno place nearby and might actually dyno with my intake/y-pipe/cat-back and then intake/cat-back to see what the numbers turn out to be... those are big IFs and MIGHTs though...

anyway I can understand why you believed 15whp was kind of high for just an i/bpipe setup....i've looked through some old threads of people posting their #'s on the dyno....and let me tell you...the #'s vary consideribly if you ask me....every car is just built differently....every dyno performs a little differently....temperatures, humidity....just everything! even your damn rims effect your HP #s! thats right...if you got some 20 inch chrome spinners don't plan on breaking any records...

Yeah it costs $600...just without the high flow cat thrown in there
