I'd sugest taking it to a Stealer. You have warranty, right?!? If possible, you might want to check the maf or your O2 sensors.

I've never heard of a Check Engine light coming on because an oil change is due. That certainly hasn't been my experience. I've got 13,500 miles on my SE and my wife has over 26,000 miles on her GXE. Neither of our cars have ever thrown a Check Engine light. I'd suspect that something else is going on.

If it was my car, I'd take it to the dealer immediately and have them diagnose the error code. If you don't want to do that, you might try resetting your ECM by removing the ground cable from your battery for a couple of hours. Then reconnect your battery and see if the Check Engine light goes away. If it doesn't, take your car into your dealer and let them figure out what's going on.

Hi there! Did you know you can enter your car's information into your sig so that you won't have to type it each time? Click on profile in the upper right corner.

OK. Even if your Check Engine light isn't on right now, your ECM may have stored the error code. Have your dealer run an ECM diagnostic with the Consult II.

I know this is strange, but my service engine light just came on too. I have an appointment to get it look at this week. Do you think they will give me any problem since I have JWT popcharger?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I am going to say that they will give you trouble over it.....take it off and see if the light goes away. If it is still there, go to the dealer with stock air box in place..
