Changing out the A/C controls

Is it possible to change out the AC controls that come on the base SE to the more functional and attractive looking computer temperatue monitor such as what is in the fully loaded or anniversary edition maximas have... I know I would have to take off the whole part but can you just go to a dealer and order a new dash unit for just that part.. The reason I want to change this is because that is the only part of the center dash that seems like "cheap plastic" that you hear so much about with the new nissans. Any feedback would be good...

Yes. You can. Worht it? No. Its very expensive to get the parts (about 400 bucks for the console piece and 900 bucks for the wiring harness). If you really want to do it, start calling the junk yards...
