2005 G35 Wheels & Brake kit fit on 5.5?
Hey whats up guys, I was driving to school today and was talking to this guy that works for infiniti at the gas station. He usually fills all the new cars with gas for the buying customers. but anyway he was cool and i was talking to him about the 18" wheels on the 2005 g35 that he was driving. Has anyone seen them? they are gorgeous, and with the brake kit it had it was just ridiculous, i was drooling a little i admit..
Would you guys know if it would fit on the our 5.5s?
I had asked how much they were and he said he didnt know how much, but that the 2004's were $3,000 inlcuding brake kits. Im sure i can get it much cheaper though.
Any info would be much appeciated.
heres a picture of the wheels if you dont know what im talking about.
they're not the ones irish and everyone else has...

Those are 19s as said and are staggered widths. Brakes might fit but too bad they will cost you 2x more than an established bbk from brembo etc....
Personally, how much do you think the gas monkey at the dealership would really know??? I mean really.

Actually, the new G's have both 18's and 19's, in the same design (double-spoke pattern, shown above).....the double-spoke 18's are pretty rare, according to the Infiniti-afficianado that lives across the street from me (and has a G coupe and a G35x)... The offset on both will fit on the maxima, and the bolt pattern and bore is correct. You might have to get some tires in a lower profile though, since the G uses a higher profile than the maxima and you will rub with G tires.
As to the brakes....doubtful that they bolt directly up, you might need a bracket (similar to the BlehmCo kit Matt makes for the 300Z calipers)....but if you can find one on a wrecked G, worth a try.....
Another option is to upgrade to the 6th gen rotors and calipers, which are direct bolt-on to the 5th gen (and larger)
