I,ve been looking at the headlights and cant get a clue where to fab up some kind of brackets, what i was think was that you can attack it to the car by where the hid is held, i'll try to come up with something and as soon as i do i'll try to post, might take a whille
hid brackets.
I got mine installed for free (Datadots) by the dealership when I took it for regular maintenance. I am close to Philadelphia. I think they are free for people living in any of the high risk areas.
i attached mine to fender on the outer part of the light..
instead of that metal piece on the light going into the fender i went from inside the fender and put a screw in from the fender side to the light ...solid in place until they brake the light in half trying to pull it out

The Data Dots are a regional recall ..like NJ PA CT etc... I talked to Dave B and he told me that he heard of them but he had never seen them before. I started a Thread asking the same question and another member gave me the news...a Regional Recall.... so no DATA DOTS for us... unless you call Nissan North America and try to negotiate with them..... I'm going to work on a braket myself and have a very good idea on how to protect the ballast not the housing. So emphasize on protecting the ballast... they housing they will brake it if they have to , they are only after the ballast.... good luck
