I just ordered a set of Illumina's and am awaiting their arrival. Just out of curiosity, what do other owners have theirs set to?

It's pretty clear what he is asking here. No need to be so rude when the question is quite clear.

I think for regular driving, a lot of guys have theirs set to the "2" setting if I'm not mistaken.

Metal Maxima - my posts have nothing to do with you being an asshole in this thread.

if i wanted to be proper, i would have. The question was pretty straight forward and did not require any BS.

** back on topic, is so its pretty much up to the driver's preference.

2F/2R. It's a little harsh sometimes over bumps, and if you stack the backseat with people they're gonna feel some bumps.

I'd almost wager that the softest setting of 1 is probably okay for every day driving, and still be stiffer than stock.

I have mine set to 3F/4R. I haven't changed them too much because I'm too lazy to change the back ones. I think ideal might be 2F/3R but that's just a guess.

Actually, you used a preposition at the end of your sentence, which is typically a grammatical no-no.

i have yet to put mine on, but when they go on, ill have the same setup as zero max. ive heard a lot of people say 2F/3R is a good setting tho.

now heres a real newb question. mine are in the box and i didnt really look at them much. is 1 the softest or hardest setting?

1 - softest
5 - hardest

my setting is 3f/4r, perfect for me. i'm into more of the handling when i'm hitting high speeds than comfort.

to me, i don't sacrifice too much comfort unless it's a pothole, but with any setting, you're gonna feel those.
maybe i'm just use to the tight ride.

3 Front 2 rear with H-Techs.

Anything stiffer on the rear makes the ride pretty rough and going to 2 on the front makes the front end seem less controlled. Yes, I know my setup increases understeer, but since my drop is merely for aesthetic reasons, I frankly don't give a damn.

4F/4R on 19s with Eibach. Little harsh to some, but I think it's fine.

Depends on what springs you're running.

With maxspeeds I run:
4 front, 3 rear (summer)
3 front, 3 rear (winter, to absorb a little more potholes)
5 front, 4/5 rear (auto-x, depending on track)

i got 4/4 right now since the weather here is getting very nice... and i love it, perfect handling on the highways,
as long as you know how to drive a lowered car you should be fine. i had 3/3 in the winter btw

i might have the softest settings at 2f/1r.
will eventually try 3f/2r but too lazy to adjust the rears.

rather soft and cushy. noticable ppssshhht sound from rears when going over speed bumps.

I'm an old fart and I have mine set 2 front, 1 rear. Don't put much weight in the trunk. I like the ride. I tried 1 front and 1 rear but the front was too mushy.
