Can we get those touch-up paint pens?

Somehow, like a retard, i managed to knock over my stock trunk lid onto the driveway when i was installing my CF one, scratching the hell outta the stock one. now i need to touch up the areas that i ruined. courtesyparts has some of the paint pens listed, but nothing for grey luster is there any other paint pen or place i can check? can i use that stuff autozone sells, the duplicolor or whatever?

Why do you specifically want a paint pen? Just get the little vial of it with the brush. you can remove the blobs and make it look next to perfect with the kit from www.langka.com. They even sell the primer and clear coat.

i want the pen just cuz its gonna be easier for me to work with, with the scratches on the trunk. i just found (thanks Joel) the chart that irish posted about the paint codes for duplicolor, and they got that 2 in 1 thing i might try.

others have suggested paintscratch.com too, which is OEM matched as well, like langka. i wish the trunk lid never fell over

? for KCMC582

Do you have a picture of your car posted anywhere so I can view it? I would like to see what the "Gray Lustre" color looks like?

Thanks.

AFAIK, Gray Lustre isn't available with the pen. Your best bet is to buy the bottle and use a toothpick instead of the brush (unless you do nails, the toothpick gives you better control). Make sure you wipe off the surfaces well with rubbing or denatured alcohol before you do it. I'll be doing my hood soon as the rocks have been trashing it.

BTW, I bought mine at the stealer for $3.99 plus tax. Courstesy was more expensive before shipping charges and I didn't want to wait.

I tried the paint pen and I didn't like it. You have to press down on it and hold to get the paint to flow. The paint wasn't too bad, but the clear coat on the other end tended to come out too fast and make a blob. I'm having better luck with touch up paint with a tooth pick or a cotton swab. Just my .02

Wouldn't a cotton swab leave fibers in the paint?

A matchstick would work equally as well, if not better and won't leave any fibers behind.
