Stupidest thing I ever saw
Get this, I saw a mid 90's models Ford Taurus with some sort of pearly white powder paint job, with CHINESE WRITING ON THE REAR, DRIVER'S SIDE!!! Are you kidding me, a FORD with chinese (or japanese, I don't know) characters, give me a break...
Ok, here's one...
I saw this hicked-out Ford pickup truck with a lift kit and big-@ss plastic bug guard/wind deflector on the hood. Of course, in classic red neck fashion, they had a saying written on the deflector which read:
"Flirting With Diaster"
Yes, folks, the first "s" was missing from "Disaster".
D'OH!

If they want to be like that, I just just chuckle...and hopefully have a good enough car to drive past them.

Ricing to extreme = bad.
Or at least thats how I see it.
everyone has a different defenition of rice
some people say my body kit looks ricey...here is my view: i don't think that one specific thing can make a car ricey...my defenition of rice is doing a ton of things to your car that don't add anything...if you want a show car, thats fine, if you want a go (fast) car, thats fine too and if you want to have both combined, thats good for you...i just hate seeing these cars with body kits, wings, tvs etc. that run slow times at the track (these people aren't going for show, btw, they have performance mods, too...phil, alex, adam, you know who i'm talking about)...basically another one of my defenitions of rice is getting something done improperly...for example...people who get dual exhaust but only hook up one pipe...or people who opt for the cheapest of something aftermarket (if you want an intake don't get a universal generic cone filter, spend the extra $50 and buy the real deal...companies that have bigger names (k&n etc.) usually have bigger names for a reason
stickers are also ricey to me...i used to love stickers because a long time ago, my car was just stock w/ springs...and unless you are next to another maxima, 99% of people can't tell that your car is lowered...i would never get into races or have my car looked at...so i started putting stickers on...finally, when i got the body kit, i got rid of my stickers because now i don't need to have stickers...stickers can be ok upto a certain point...a winshield banner isn't bad
o...1 more thing, people w/ drum brakes that put those fake cross drilled covers over them so it looks like they have rotors

www.riceboypage.com and www.ricecop.com are pretty funny if you want to see some real rice

dude...ricers suck...they act all fast but they aren't... my friend has a rice-ish car but he wants to it be faster and wants to switch out his engine for major power. Dang... I wish I had a ricecop.com rice ticket to ticket a yellow, lighting paintjob S200 with HUGE spoiler and ULTIMATELY HUGE exaust tip. The thing looked cool at first but when I thought about it I got ****ed...
