I've already got the shift boot, and my armrest is getting pretty krusty- might as well make it match!
I sent in the armrest cover for my Infiniti and he did a great job duplicating it. The leather is MUCH nicer than the vinyle cover that comes from the factory.

Definitely send it in so all of you 3rd gens can benefit. It's a great product.

I'm not. It's just a training session. I do have a bucket seat and 5-point harness though. On competition days I do have a helmet. But it's just not feasible when you don't have to and the weather is in the 90's...

not to *****, but anytime I'm out there (drifting or grip) with another car, then I have a helmet on. 150 degrees or not.
I trust my driving, but I NEVER completely trust the other guy.. all it takes is either person to have a small bobble and there's contact.. no thanks.

But that's just me.

Matt, you've never lived in Europe, have you

you see motorcycles cruising at 120mph on every highway...nary a helmet to be seen. Seatbelts? At least in Italy nobody used them....speed limits, stopsigns, red lights - all pretty much optional. Passing zones? Any road is a passing zone, regardless of oncoming traffic.

Trust me, I pretty much did all of this when I lived there (apart from the seatbelt and motorcycle part)

What does this have to do with Italian drivers that have a deathwish? apples and oranges.
All it takes is one mistake by one driver out there and squish. and when you're drifting 10 ft from someone else, it's easy to make a minor mistake..

What's the difference if you have a helmet or no and one car runs into the other one? When you're in a race harness the helmet only makes it worse because there's more weight that your neck needs to support.

On that particular track, since it's an old military airfield, you have so much concrete all around and the grass parts are really concrete plates covered with grass, that you won't roll over no matter how you try.

So really, you don't want to wear a helmet there unless you must.

following up on the orange theme shown in the previous discount code post, here are more pictures. Please notice what a nice addition the QUADRUPLE THREAD is... And here's the new code. J428ZYW05W4 - valid through October 20th, next Wednesday (one full week to make up your mind and order!

Hi everyone!

We have an important announcement to make.

If you are considering ordering some boots as a Christmas present (or having somebody order them for you) please think ahead in time. We always have a plethora of orders around Christmas. What makes things worse, so do many Internet stores. This causes increasing traffic for the USPS and this results for many shipments to arrive delayed. If you want to make sure your present (or a present for you if that's the case) gets there on time, please consider ordering early.

There is another incentive for this: AS OF RIGHT NOW WE HAVE FREE SHIPPING FOR ALL ORDERS ABOVE $50 SHIPPED! This special will last until the end of the year. However, there will be no discount codes released through that time. However... the old ones still work (although not for 10% off). Which is a hint I probably shouldn't be giving away, but I want everybody to have fun doing their Christmas shopping with us!

Here's a nice picture as an incentive. One of my all time favorites. Enjoy!

What is the boots leather color used here? Light grey?
So it's proven the MT shift boot will works on AT perfectly?
Thanks.

Hi,

that boot is indeed light gray and yes, the manual boot will work on the automatic just fine. The picture you quoted is an automatic, I believe.

Hi guys,

We have decided to extend our newest special offer through December:

NOW WE HAVE FREE SHIPPING FOR ALL ORDERS ABOVE $50 SHIPPED!

There will be no discount codes released through that time. However... the old ones still work (although not for 10% off). Which is a hint I probably shouldn't be giving away, but I want everybody to have fun doing their Christmas shopping with us!

Here are two newest pictures we received. One to prove that CONTRASTING THREAD is a really nice touch:

and one showing that plain black is elegant and timeless:

Merry Christmas everyone, in case we don't hear from each other again.

Hi all,

NEW MATERIALS AVAILABLE!!

As of this year, we offer CARBON FIBER VINYLS in addition to the materials (leather, perforated leather, faux-alcantara) we have been using until now! Carbon Fiber based Vinyl is the newest and hottest upholstery product for use in Racing, Import Vehicle, Marine Applications and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) applications. It has been embossed to have the look of real carbon fiber.

Samples of the RED CARBON FIBER BOOTS:

Like what you see? Get some! Here's the discount code: 4916UCQO84L valid until the end of February.

Enjoy!

Man, it's been a while without the new code. But we got lots of stuff today.

First, a great combination of perforated leather and piping in a C5 Vette:

Then, more carbon-fiber (before install, hopefully we'll be able to show them installed soon):

Last but not least, this pic. May appear simple. But those of you who know cars can tell that the no automatic Camaros had a shift boot from the factory, you could see those moving plastic shards around the shift lever. So our shift boot is a completely unique product. Note that those cars had no ebrake boot either - just an ugly metal lever visible under that ebrake handle!

Bottomline - Redline can make anything as long as shift boots are concerned. Just shoot us an email.

Here's the code. [b]492LLUXQ463[b]. Valid until Wednesday, March 21st!

Take care,
Maciek

Man! I really need to pick up the Shift boot, brake boot and armrest for my Max! As you can tell from the pic below. Here's the question, what color is the closest match to our interior?

I've been also thinking of black pecies with the gray stiching. Does anyone have pics of this interior handy?

Also, do you have a frequent buyer discount? I bought some peices last year for 240sx.

I think medium gray should work best, however I think black leather with medium gray thread will work just as well, unless you mind the armrest lid being different colored than the surrounding center console (I know I wouldn't ).

We have the 10% discount codes, that's it though I'm afraid.

Maciek,

whats the current discount code?

also, for a stock shift boot, what would be the right height? I rather have it a little puffy and fluff than skinny look.

not like this:

but more like this:

Of course, in a stock shifter though. Should I get the standard height or should I get a little longer?

thanks bro!

I just couldn't help but post this picture:

It's AWESOME. Notice how the silver thread matches perfectly both the aluminum shift **** and the bezel. To top it off, the red gives it a very custom look!

No code this time, there's one that's still valid (until Midnight today!) in my previous post!
