Center Bore

Does anyone know what this has to do with a rim,and also does it matter if it is different than the stock rim as long as the bolt pattern is the same. By the way does anyone know the center bore of the stock SE wheel?

Yes, the purpose of the centerbore is very important when installing aftermarket rims. Most manufacturers of aftermarket rims make the centerbore well big enough so that they don't have to produce each and every car on the market to compensate each car's own hub size. This is where hub rings come in. Hub rings are made to the car's hub specs so that they can fit onto the hub allowing the extra space from the aftermarket rims' hub to fit snug onto the car. If not, there is some "play" with the wheel once its mounted. Eventually, in turn, this will cause vibration at higher speeds, and sometimes will cause wheel bearing failure. Without hub rings, you're putting major stress on the studs, and causing improper balance of your wheels.

In order words, a rim with a 76 center bore, will more than likely vibrate quite a bit on a Maxima?
