Anybody know if any white maximas came with the black interior? If not how much of a pain in the *** is it to convert from biege to black?

 

Unfortunately no. Only gray or tan.

White on black looks awesome. If you can get your hands on some black leather seats, I'd buy em.

 

The Lincoln LS has actually inspired my thoughts on this for my Max. There are a lot of parts to have to replace to do a full conversation, and make it look nice. Including Carpet... :\... Would love to do it myself, but the cost would be to much for my liking... (unless you can find someone to trade you even)... the driver-side electric seat for an SE lists around $1k by itself... [that is if you were to buy each piece individually] Good luck by the way... would love to see some pics if you ever decide to take on this Modification... it would truely be unique from what i've seen on the ORG...

 

Yeah, but he doesn't have to buy brand new seats. He can just buy new leather covers and remove his current leather. Whole sets are around $500-$600 I think. Then there is the carpet like pepsiman mentioned. Then, instead of black dash you will have a light dash, center console, doors, etc. You can probably do the leather and carpet for under a $1K though.

My inspiration was the 4 gen max and even 3rd gen max i remember thosing comming in the white with black leather, man I would love that,,, lets make a trade, who wants mint condition tan interior? ill trade you for black let me know???

When I was shopping for my car, I asked the dealer about doing a swap white/black interior. They said they can only do seats and that was 2k......bump dat. It would be nice, but i'll just stick to my black on black.

 

Kloogy had a white max with a black leather interior. they are out there, but its extremely rare i think. special order.

yo decked out wanna do a comeplte trade, my interior is in mint condition im lookin for the same, we can swap out everything including the dash, everything but the headliner,, i would get that done in suede, let me know if ur intrested.

I had a 2000 with black seats and carbon fiber dash molded kit... It looked great.. but had to let it go... and pick up the 01..... I drove it for 3 weeks.. it was beautiful....

 

when i got mine it is an SE with the Meridian package fully loaded with the leather seats. But I will get pics

What i would like to do is get the 01 taillights, blacked out headlights, black tints,, and maybe some graphite rims,, 19 or 18's,,, and to top it off would be the black interior?

 

the 2000 & 2001's came with it. I would have loved to have gotten mine that way. Boy it looked sharp!

white with black interior is sexy but i dont mind white on tan. either way, i dont mind. ill be in the market in a few months so well see what happens then. until then, dont get to hooked on the car...

 

just a minder... while i was browsing through my dad's collision and repair estimating guide for Asian cars, (hehe... ;P)... i was going to compile a list of everything... it was taking to long so i decided not to complete "the comprehensive guide" cause a lot of staff was circumstantial... e.g. leather seating vs cloth, pwr seating vs. man. - there is A LOT of plastic that has to be replaced... (that is, if you want the FULL effect)... now... don't forget about the passenger side air-bag... you can't take the cover off of a tan, and put on a black... you have to buy the whole air bag unit... (unless you want to go experimenting... :P... let me know so i can pray for your friends riding shot-gun...) that'd be around $1057... my dad actually get's it cheaper... but, that's the list price... the dash is $553.86... that's not including your side vents, side defrosting vents, and upper defrosting grill... there's to many small pieces to count... i gave up when i had to do a break down on the center-console unit... cause you can buy the whole assembly, but for cost effectiveness, i was just going to list the essentials... and i haven’t even listed the price for the seats... hehe... you can actually get out cheaper by just baying the seating cushion - backing cushion - head rest, and the back part of the front seats that hold stuff... (again, there were to many variables - leather cloth pwr man...) not to mention all the plastic trim on your seats!!!! Omg!!!... anyhow... again, good luck... i'd almost consider doing this myself if i weren't looking at bikes... >... who knows, I may change my mind… ;P…

 

Those black on white 5th gens are soooo rare. I've heard of 'em, but this is my 1st time seeing pics of one that supposedly wasn't swapped. I've never seen any 02-03's with it though. REALLY wish it came like that

 

I thought it looked badass, my GF at the time didnt. I wish I could do an all white leather Interior custom with black ext, but im not sure how you could keep that clean

 

i have tan and dark grey interior im looking for black... need it pretty bad mainly looking for the door panels... you still have yours? if not do you know anyone who might?

 

Just found out as of today that the Nissan Stealership will charge $5800 for full blackened converion Leather interior... and $4100 for cloth conversion... it would be cheaper in the long run if you kept your origional interior and sold it later... to make up some of that money... you could easily get $800 alone for a the "used" air bag unit... oh... btw... that's not including the installation that nissan will charge to exchange it all for ya... but if you can do it all yourself... then, atleast you're not being ripped off TOO TOO bad... hehe... :\
