I have a 00 max... I saw projectors headlights on ebay for 2 somethin... are they worth it?

does anybody know where i can get it for alil cheaper?

To answer your question, no, do not get the projectors. Sit back and do some reading in here and you will find out why.

they cost around $220 everywhere man, so i doubt you could find them anywhere cheaper..they sure do look much better than the oems..but not quite as good as the 02 hid's...but then again they cost 4 times less ..i love mine

but in the future id reallly like to get a pair of 02 hids lights. clear them..paint them black and get angel eyes for them..maybe next year though

 

very much worth it, or you can do what i did. get the AE headlight housings and hid them bishes up, by doing what i did u gain the security of not getting ur lamps stolen.

 

In my opinion, the projectors are worth it. I hate the look of the oem lights, and i don't want HID if it's reflector based (like the 5.5gens). I'm retrofitting a pair of X5/e39 projector lenses into my ebay lights to achieve maximum light output. In the end i'll end up paying about $500-$550 for lights that blow away 5.5gen. I really thought about getting the 2k2 lights but the brightness,cutoff, and color of projectors (especially bosch, hella, and valeo) are unequalled.

Yes the ebay lights are kinda cheap, but with a little modification you can blow everyone's 2k2 lights out of the water... Once you become a member, search for Dr. roy's projector mod....

 

either get HID kit or buy 5.5 headlights

Chrome is gonna retrofit my projectors with Dr. Roys setup (I am using 6000k philips though). I honestly like it better than 2k2-2k3 headlights.
