ABS Light On
Two things.
1. You might have pulled a ABS sensor wire by accident and the connection is loose - to fix that - just pull the wheels off, look on the back side of the rotor and you will see a little round sensor, with a wire going from it ... trace the wire to the connector - in the back the connector is about 18 inches to the front on the FRAME ... upfront it is closer to the control arm. Make sure all connections are good.
2. If step 1 does not fix it, you have a bad ABS sensor. Only Nissan dealer can pull that code, as it is proprietery...they will tell you exactly which sensor it is. Replacing is easy, just undo the connectory, unscrew the sensor and put one it....it looks like a spark plug boot..
Sensors are about $125 from dealer. They are mostly on back order.... but Infiniti dealers I35 sensors are the same...
Good luck.

It may have triggered the code if all 4 wheels are off the ground and you ran the car in gear -- the ABS might get confused by seeing 4 different wheel speeds, one from each sensor, that don't match.
Or you might have broken or dislodged one of the wheel speed sensors (a toothed ring, as above) when you put the car up into the air.
Depending on your dealer if you're outa warranty probably $60 to $80 to pull the codes.

well i only had the front wheels off the gound. i was just wondering if there was a way to reset it or maybe it will go away on its on after a while? like it will see that everythign is normal after driving? i just want that stupid light to go away.
Just taking the wheels off the ground should not do anything, I did a brake job like that...
Mine came on right after I washed the car and I thought I went too crazy with cleaning the rims and shorted something....
My dealer diagnoises everything for free so ... and then that sensor was goodwilled by nissan as I had only 65k miles on 2.5 year old car.... they did not have the sensor in stock to I had one shipped from a Pittsburgh dealer and local one put it in...then got re-imburesed by Nissan NA for the part. Later on I found out that local Infiniti dealer 30 miles away had 3 of them...
