adding stereo steering wheel controls

Has anyone done this? I have 2k GLE with BOSE and wish I had steering wheel sound controls like my wife's MDX. I know some Maximas came with those. Does anyone have a part number? Is it a simple bolt-on (i.e. the wiring harness is already there) or is there more work involved?

i dont think the wiring is there because it wasn't added until the following year. the only other way i know of doing it would be to get an aftermarket HU with a remote, 2001 steering wheel, and an adapter that lets you program the buttons on the wheel to functions on the remote.

Bummer I always catch myself trying to change volume on the steering wheel when I get in the Max after driving the MDX.
