Sub forum for 5.5 gen?

Some questions asked in here are 5.5 gen specific. Any way to have a subforum for those specific questions? (i.e. not rim/tire questions, but tranny questions, engine/component questions, etc)

Would anyone else find this helpful? Of course I'm asking because I'm looking for a 5.5 gen as we speak and my searches are often not very efficient.

I don't think we need another sub-forum for the 5.5 Gens, I think there is enough traffic in here for 5.5 Gen questions and discussions... besides, there is a lot in common and some 5th Gen guys know more about 5.5 Gen guys do. I've personally not had any trouble finding what I've needed in the past...

Haha... I could see why its helpful, but to make it so specific would kinda reduce the amount of knowledgeable people (we already seem to be running out of those) who frequent the forum/sub-forum. I just think that there's a lot to benefit from having the 5th and 5.5th Gen guys in the same forum and its usually not that hard to get what ya need from here. But this is just my opinion of course.

But then maybe I'm wrong... maybe the more knowledgeable people will come back once the forum "thins out" and the quality of the threads are increased...

If the 3-gen section can have two completely different engines under one forum than you guys can discuss VQ30 and VQ35 questions just fine.

You would be much better served if you dontated $20 and searched on your own. IMHO

Can someone tell me what a 5.5 generation is? I have seen it mentioned so many times, that I need to know. I am guessing it is a 2003 with a 3.5 engine?
