i was wondering if anyone had pics of a blakc 00-01 thats lowered with either a ae or stillen body kit, im trying to figure out which one i want, but i only see it on stock height lookin maxs. thanks!

question about the aero kits. Is the whole rear and front bumpers taken off when the new ones are put on? my rear stock bumper is off by a touch and i was wondering if that will be eliminated if i was to buy the stillen aero kit. true??

 

nah man the aero kits' rear valance attaches to the stock bumper and same for the front bumper

btw i think the stillen aero kit is much rounder and nicer shaped than the AE, which is kinda boxy looking in my eyes.

the stillen kit is really fat and bubbly to me, so it really depends on everyone's personal taste

 

Did you guys say that the body kits attach to the factory 01 SE model body???

 

the body kits from stillen and the AE from nissan are all "additions" to the existing bumpers and sideskirts. With the exception of the 02-03's which have special side skirts for those years already.

this is not including the stillen big mouth bumper, which is a complete replacement

 

Coldsho, just a little more info, the AE kit is 8 pieces, 3 for the front, 3 for the rear, and 1 on each side. But i remember someone saying this, and maybe someone who bought the AE kit can correct me, if you buy it the kit doesn't come with the middle piece for the rear because of the two different style mufflers. This was a long time ago though so I could be wrong. I did see a picture of the middle piece missing and thought it still looked pretty cool (like the 4th gen stillen rear pieces)

 

ALL Stillen kits are really ugly and don't fit well with our Maximas IMO. AE kits are so much better and sleeker.

 

I had a AE front lip on my car, it looks pretty good. Currently I have the Stillen aero front lip and side skirts are coming next month. My AE lip got damaged in a small accident and its REALLY expenssive to repleace it, so I got the ABS lip, but that thing fits like azz and don't look good, got the Stillen and I love it. Pics are up on my cardomain, and my car is slammed. IMHO Stillen body kits look BEST on Maximas, all other kits look, fit- like ****.

 

Do you guys think the Stillen rear would look good with the AE front lip and skirts?

 

I like the stillen touring front bumper, sarona sides and sarona rear. Thats a good combo. So is sarona sides with stillen aero rear and front. its all in the taste.

 

Personal preference. I like my stillen kit
