Wagner ThermoQuiet or Performance Friction Brake Pads

I am trying to decide which pads to go with my new 2k4 rotors up front as well as what to put in the rear. One of my OKC buddies recommended the Wagner ThermoQuiets but after doing several searches, I haven't found much info on the org about them. Thanks for the input.

I have the thermoquiets in the rear. They are pretty good to me, low dusting and quiet. But the problem is, they are in the rear so its hard to tell how good the braking is. I like them and when the front go bad, ima try them up front too.

Great! I finally hear from someone on the Org that has them.....I think I may give them a shot with my new 2k4 rotors up front but still trying to decide between those and the performance friction carbon-metallics.

I have Performance Friction pads on the front of my 4th Gen. They have a very smooth engagement and they seem to last a long time. I believe I have about 50,000 miles on them so far. I have used them on many different vehicles and they have never squeeled. They seem to dust up like normal brakes. My only complaint with the set on the Max is they dont seem to grab as well as what was already on the car. I dont know what was on there, but I believe they stopped better.

Well, I just got back from O'Reillys after deciding to go with the Wagner ThermoQuiet performance pads. Fronts were 44.99 and rears were 28.99.

either pad will be fine. the PFC is a better bet if you drive the car really hard (track use), but for daily driving and autocross use, the Wagners will be fine. I use those and Bendix IQs on all my customer cars that come in for brake work unless they specify a different brand.
