oil pan seal change

oil pan seal change
went to the steelers to have an engine sensor recall done (free of charge ). They took a look at a tiny bit of oil around the oil pan screws and said the pan seal needs replacement and they want $340. Is it easy to do and any info on how to do it is apprecieated. I should be able to do it myself if its not too difficult.
I changed both of my front bearings myself thanks to this website-with the excepetion of pressing in and out of hub ($35per side to a machine shop), unfortunately it didnt solve my wuu wuu wuu sound from the right side.--comments on that too are welcome.
Thx

Which oil pan ? there are 2 oil pans, lower which takes total of maybe 2 min to take off, and the upper ALUMINUM oil pan, which takes a little bit longer to take off- maybe 30 min at the most. There is no seal or gasket there- its all SILICONE,RTV- whatever you wanna call it.
As for the noise from the bearings- did you repleace the hubs too ? How did they look ? any scoring on the hub ? Its possible you have a bent rim or out of round or feathered tire that WILL cause nasty noises like you describe. I just had a 04 TL A-Spec with the 18" wheels/tires come in and some dealership did both from wheel bearings on it for the noise- needless to say I find it hard to belive a car with 18K miles on it needs bearings, and the tires where completly FUKED, aligment was just a little bit off, but Yokohama ES100 are just POS tires and people need to avoid them like a sore thumb.

man that's the kind of Bull I hate about dealers. $340.00 to do that you can do it yourself.. and only spend the money on the seal, if it has a gasket, which form Blackbird comment snow I know we don't have a gasket like in the tranny.
