Aftermarket E-Brake

So one of my interior mods will be a new e-brake handle. I found a universal one that Sparco makes that I really like, but Im kinda lost as to how it will work. The stock handle doesnt appear to screw on (or off), but does it? Ill end up getting a leather boot for it as well and am also wondering if you just slide the boot down into the brake handle opening or does it get secured just around the base onto the console?

thanks!

And yes, the Momo one looks good, and I would get it if I had an all black interior, but im trying to keep with the "white" theme, and this one was the best looking one I could find and be happy with....

Ill post some pics eventually, but it will be a little while. I still need to find a company that will agree to make the custom boots for me. Aparently we can send people to the moon, but we cant sew through 3 pieces of leather...

Yes. Three different colors of leather and at least two different colors of stitching. Im layering some of the leather, and im told by some companies that they cant stitch through 3 layers of leather. So, im still trying to find someone who can.

or you could make your own it's not "bling" but it is comfortable and costs about 5 bucks in materials (fiberglass and a leather wrap)....of course, you have to know how to use fiberglass, and know how to sew

just throwin it out there, since I'm the only one on here (that I know of) that has the ultra-ghetto, ugly home depot ebrake handle

to the ugliness

(oh, and I have the redline boots also)

no prob...I know it's ugly. I just think all the other aftermarket ones (momo, sparco, etc) are ugly too....so I would rather spend $5 on an ugly one than $50

yes, I smoke in the car. Also eat in the car, drink in the car, etc etc. It gets real dirty since I spend about 2 hours a day commuting to work
I clean the interior of the car weekly, but never think to take interior pics when it's clean....most of those interior pics are ones I ran out to take when someone asked a question or something

I smoke in mine too. I just noticed the tale-tale ash particles around the shifter.

Just make sure when you buy one it states, "universal fitment".

Also, make sure it doesnt say "Honda"....
