If you want a CAI, just get a Place racing/ Cattman. It's the ONLY true Cai....

probally cause he spent 29,997. and had $3bucks left to spare?
I designed a "GCAI-Ghetto cold air intake" with solid elbows and tube. With the fixed design the chances for chaffing and air turbulence was minimized. I've been running this for about a month with no problems. Performance continues to be consistent, even when the engine is hot.

that's cute....water going up? seems to me that it's not his only entrypoint for air, as the stock box is still connected. given that, if he engulfed that add-on in water, there wouldn't be any pressure to cause water to travel up into the maf and beyond. that's why people had bypass valves to CAI and injen's....no primary entry = no suction.

well i dont see water being a huge problem here in arizona. i will be stationed in washington state before the end of the year though, so i dont know if it will stay so low. im thinking that using regular piping would be better though since its smooth on the inside without all the little kinks. it also runs to the stock airbox with a fram airhog inside. maybe using a maf adapter for intake tubing would be better since it skips the airbox? yes? no?

Your kidding right? That thing is going to F' up your car!
Its going to pick up all sorts of crap and worse, water for sure. Second is that that piping is not the right size and will throw of the MAF.No good bro.
