All those who replaced their Bose HU

I am probably going to go with an aftermarket Pioneer cd/mp3 receiver and wanted to know two things.

1) I know i need an adapter for the steering wheel controls, does anyone know exactly what the name of the adapter is and where is a nice and cheap place to purchase it from.

2)Do i have to buy an adapter to keep my bose speakers and amplifier/subs? Someone also said i need an adapter for my trip comp. to work is that true?
or do i just need to get the steering wheel adapter and nothing else.

Thanks.

1) Go to crutchfield online store or cardomain they have adapter for the steering wheel.

2) Last time I've read you just need to ground the brown w/ white wire to something.

Hope that helps.

I can sell you my adapter if you want. I bought it and never installed it and now I don't really need it, heh.
