Floor Bar?

Does anyone know if this has any truth to it, or is it just someone trying to get money for a mod that doesn't do sh%t?

can't speak for these in particular, but I know alot of auto-x guys have bars like these (seen them at the track)...they are kind of a subframe-connector "lite"...since they don't weld on to the subframe like a true SFC.....

Bottom line is that the theory is fair, as long as they are attached securely enough to affect frame flex. Will the make a big difference? Probably not...but they should make a small difference in frame stiffness - at least according to the Miata guys they do (and those guys need stiffness in a big way)

Or look into Warpspeeds SFCs or BlehmCo's LTBs... after the basic FSTB/RSB of course....

I've been meaning to tryout the BlehmCo's LTB. Just one of those mods that come and go. Heard something about taking a little of the oversteer away. I actually kinda like my oversteer a little.

I'm not disagreeing with you guys, but LTB is fairly $ and SFCs cost a couple hun and require a shop to weld them on...Of course both are better options, but for $25, it can't hurt to try the floor bar....it will make a difference, probably moreso than the FSTBs that all of us have....

This is like someone asking "hey, do intakes work?" and all of you guys coming back and saying "you'd be better off getting a supercharger"
