Help with my brakes please..

I decided to do my brakes today since i got my rotors and pads from group deal... anyway... I couldn't even loose the lugnuts...they are just too tight to take off..any way to get them off easily? also...will my 4" c-clamp work for both my front and rear brakes?

Put a bar over the lug wrench (i.e. breaker bar) and push/pull like hell.

C clamp works for the fronts only.

Need the special rear caliper tool (less than $10) from your local auto parts store.

Good luck!

You mean you can't get the lug nuts off your rims? Seem like it shouldn't been that tight. As for your calipers, with the rears, you can't use c-clamps, you have to get a special tool, that you have to turn the piston to go in since it doesn't use lateral force to press it in.

You could Try using an Impact Wrench to get off the lugs

Go to AutoZone and get a break away spray similar to liquid wrench or something. When I did mine, we used the cheapest looking stuff and it worked awesome.

Stubborn Lugs...

I always end up stripping and having to replace a stud or two when I take off my rings and no, I am not over tightening them...I think. I think all would agree...the last place you want liquid wrench is on your lug nuts..unlesss you clan it like hell before replacing your tire.---turn 100mph..think about it...
