what's under your clear sidemarkers?

for those who have clear sidemarkers, i just wanted to know what bulbs different people have. i have front clears but i'm not sure if i like the hyperwhite bulbs or amber. i have hyperwhite cheap walmart bulbs in my clearance, looks good with my 02-03 xenons tho. if you can, be specific (i.e. polarg M-4) thanks.

i used to have polarg M-4 and they were great! but after a while, i just got too worried driving at night with freaking hyperwhite bulbs shining at all four corners ( ) so i changed to amber and red (front-amber, back-red) 9-LED 912 bulbs, which are EXTREMELY bright, and i highly recommend them....

Many people in the .Org got pulled over for having super white side markers including myself. Not sure if you want to take that risk

I have 5 led bulbs from Ebay, white in the front and red in the rear. They have one big bulbs facing forward and 4 smaller ones to the sides, so the light fills the reflector really well. I think I paid around $20 for all 4.

i never sealed mine before putting them in cuz it looked like too much of a PITA. i pray that water doesn't get in there everytime it rains or i was my car.

i kind of do like the amber fronts and red rears at night esp, i'm gonna leave my clearance hyperwhite. i've even seen a maxima with straight up BLUE clearance bulbs, didn't look bad but cops will be all over you. although right now i have hyperwhite fronts sides, i'm gonna try to get LED ambers. anyone know how many LED's will match with red rear sides (3 led, 6 led, 9 led, etc.)?

If white corners are not illegal then why will cops hassle you? They are illegal.

exactly. even if you put amber/red bulbs in them they are still illegal because the law says they have to reflect amber/red light.

In front, I'm using the bulb that came with the part. Working out better than my rears.

In rear, I've got inverted red 194 from autoillumination. Better than the polargs i had in before, but not great. Might go with the LEDs for front & back soon.

Does anyone have daytime pics of their corners lit up?

Stock for light colors.

I like the stock ones, orange in front, and red on back. I don't think clear side markers look too good on my sunlit sand color, I think clear would look like they are broken or something. They look good on dark colors.

This site has a good selection of LEDs for your sidemarkers. I also recommend the 5 LED Refractors.

I have cheap blue wedge bulbs up front (look white now) and a 6 led RED in the back as the cheap red bulbs look pink. No orange or red anywhere.

If your lens leak or have condensation, seal up with clear silicone. I did mine and they are water tight.
