Attention all Brake Gurus...

I decided to try ceramic pads- 01 SE Max. Can everyone rate in order what you consider to be the best pads.

I drive normal and am looking for quite, good stopping power and longevity.

1. (best)
2.
3.

*Any feedback on Bendix ceramics?
*I've heard Hawks are good, do they hold up is their different types/part # of the ceramic pads they offer?

1. Hawk HPS - I use them now...can't think of any downsides...quiet, smooth, good bite, no fade....haven't overheated them, even doing auto-x
2. Bendix Titanium - pretty good, good bite, low fade, but they tear up the rotors
3. Bendix ceramic eq - good feel, but didn't ahve very good bite IMO.
4. Stock/OEM pads - decent all-around for normal driving

Before anyone can recommend brake pads, we need to know what you plan to do with the car... If you are just going to drive it around as a mode of transportation, that's one thing. If you plan on doing track use or autocross the car, that's a totally different thing. Do you care what happens to the rotor or do you want the best performance? Do you care how much they cost or last, or dust, or squeal??? There are pads out there that are well over $60 per pad... Also, are you running stock brakes right now, or have you modded them in any way?

As I said in the original post- I drive normal...no track, just everyday with some spirited driving here and there but not much (dont need the tickets).

I am putting Brembo Blanks on otherwise a stock set up. I listed what I am looking for, quiet, stopping power and longevity. I appreciate your feedback.
So far it looks like Hawk HPS is what I need.

Thanks...
